When I got to Keryx I was tired and ready to end my life. At the weekend I learned that there are people like me out there but the love of God can change this. I am a recovering addict and since my weekend I have learned trusting in God helps me get through my days and I don't hardly crave at all anymore. But, those times that I do, I pray and reach out to other Keryx members and I get through it feeling better and uplifted. Things have changed so much in my life since Keryx that even CPS is looking at giving my kids back and I get more time with them. God is good!

I thought I was "on-fire" for Jesus, but this weekend showed me how far I had to go to get to where I thought I was (much less, where I wanted to be!). This gave me the tools I needed to make real progress in my walk with the Lord!

Keryx in Community

Going into my weekend I was a individual with a cold heart. On the verge of divorce and just hated the world. But the love that I saw on my weekend stirred inside of me the desire to do more. LOVE like Christ loved. This was a feeling that I had never had before. But through the grace of God I no longer have a cold heart and One year later I am still married. You see I learned how to love and to be loved. That is what it is all about.

Keryx in Community

I arrived desperate for peace of mind. My heart and mind remained opened and in the weekend, I was transformed. I restored my relationship with Jesus and our heavenly Father. I found loving fellowship and community from my sponsor and from the table family. Love was demonstrated in a way that I had not experienced before. It was profound and healing. It is my desire to become involved in KIC so that I may help others realize the same gift I was given. Thank you for this opportunity.
